1. Pricing

The on campus rates are for those PIs who are directly associated with The University of Montana as faculty, staff, or student. All others are considered off campus users.

-- Fragment Analysis (On Campus) :

$ 125.00 *full, 96-well plate. $1.30/well

$ 460.00 *full, 384-well plate. $1.20/well

$ 1.50 each, run in multiples of 16. $24.00 minimum charge.

*Murdock Lab will supply plates. Investigator will return plate with 1ul of diluted product and notify Murdock Lab it is prepared.

2. Placing your Order

2a If the website is down, contact the facility at (406) 243-4229 and an order sheet will be emailed for your completion. Please call if you have questions about our fragment analysis service

2b You may use either the four dye set (ABI DS30) or the five dye set (ABI G5) for your analysis.

Four dye set—acceptable dyes for your markers are 6-FAM (blue), HEX (green), NED (yellow). The facility uses ROX (red) for the size standard (GS500).

Five dye set—acceptable dyes for your markers are 6-FAM (blue), VIC (green), NED (yellow), PET (red). The facility uses LIZ(orange) for the size standard (GS500).

2e We run Gene Scan on batches of 16, or multiples thereof. Submissions with less than 16 samples will be charged 16 lanes. Back to top
